Join us for an inspiring Metalsmithing Class on February 22, 2025, from 10 AM to 4 PM! Dive into the fascinating world of fold forming, the only new metalsmithing technique invented in the last 100 years. This innovative method takes advantage of the inherent qualities of metal and simple tools, allowing you to create a stunning array of organic and precise shapes.
In this hands-on workshop, you will work with copper sheets to explore various line folds, crafting bold, graphic pieces. You’ll also learn how to create more organic shapes, such as leaves and pods. By the end of the class, you'll have designed and made your very own pendant and a pair of earrings featuring silver earwires.
