About the Event
Learn how to create pieces in fine silver metal clay for enameling with guest instructor Brandy Boyd. This 2-day intensive class consists of two projects: a champleve pendant that utilizes positive and negative space to create a design between the silver and enamel and a 3-dimensional piece that will be enameled in the round. Both pieces will utilize transparent enamel that is wet-packed into place. Unleash your creativity and join us for an exciting and educational experience in the world of metal clay enameling.
Information covered in class:
● Creating a metal clay base using textures and templates to create a champleve and basse taille pendant
● Constructing a textured 3-D piece from metal clay using dry construction techniques
